PHYTOPARASITICA is fully searchable, by subject, keyword, title and author. Visitors to the site can access and download all archived material, including entire articles, from volumes 24 (1996) and 25 (1997). For volume 26 (1998), access to abstracts and key words, as well as to authors via direct e-mail, is available free to all visitors at the site.
Starting with volume 26 (1998), subscribers will be able to download entire articles, with access via a password. An additional advantage to the electronic version of PHYTOPARASITICA: subscribers can retrieve newly accepted articles on-line in page-proof form, prior to publication. The early on-line release of these articles may represent a difference of as much as three months in the availability of research results to the scientific community.
Background and Aims
After many years of extensive activities in various fields of plant pathology The Israeli Phytopathological Society (IPS) was established in 1968. Since then the society has been active in promoting the diciplines of plant pathology, namely, phytopathology (sensu stricto), virology and nematology by organizing meetings on both national and international levels, by publishing professional reports, directories and newsletters, by granting fellowships, etc.
